Cures for Bronchitis

The months of nagging from friends to continue blogging will now have to come to an end. Bedridden due to an attach of bronchitis and wifi at home have given me the inspiration to start writing again. After a morning of updating myself on friend's blogs and facebook, boredom has given me the right inspiration.

Its been ages since I took up the electronic pen and put my thoughts on screen. Its now exactly a year in Algeria and so much has happened... However I don't think I'm in the right state to head into the thoughts of Algeria and my latest travels.

Yesterday, after an amazing weekend in Byblos, I rushed off to the doctor with a bad migrane and a terrible chest pain and was thus diagnosed with a mild attack of bronchitis. I was injected with a bottle of paracetamol and some other stuff - it was all in french half of the things the doctor was saying i could not understand.. so I automatically went with the stuff she gave me.

I was then transported home for some rest. The biggest advantage of living in such a multicultural environment is that you get cultural advice on bronchitis treatment...

The Algeria doctor advices: Take a set of antibiotic treatment

The Lebanese boss advices: Stay home dont come to the office

The Maltese mother advices: Eat hot chicken soup

The Swedes advice: Drink tea

The Algerians advice: Stay warm and rest

The Romanians advice: Drink Oranges and Vitamin C

The French advice: Drink some hot honey will lemon

All of which I am religiously following, but unfortunately are not really giving good results for the time being.... any other advice for fast recovery?
